According to law, if anything (from basic groceries to a car) is advertised at a certain price, the advertiser has to honour the advertised price. It seems like that dealership is trying to take a big chance, to be frank. If you cannot resolve this issue amicably, we'd recommend you lodge a complaint with the Advertising Standards Authority, who will be able to assist you further. Also remember to take screenshots or print copies of the offending advertisement, as this may be needed for evidence as the case is followed up.
