Hi there
Firstly, we're sorry to hear about this traumatic experience with your new purchase - it can not be a pleasant experience, and will likely leave a bad impression on you for a while.
The good news is that you are on solid legal ground here, thanks to the Consumer Protection Act (as it pertains to motor vehicles). Your car showed a major material flaw within the first 6 months, and this entitles you to return the car to the dealership, where they will have to to either:
(1) Repair or replace the defective component(s) at their cost;
(2) Refund you for expenses incurred in the purchase of the vehicle.
If you entered into an agreement whereby you would pay for the tyres and a service (which was an unwise move in the first place, as this already shows that the dealership doesn't conduct business in an ethical manner), you have every right to expect reimbursement for these expenses from the dealership as well - in other words, you should be refunded for the car (if they cannot repair it timeously or satisfactorily) as well as additional expenses.
Failing this, we'd advise you to obtain legal representation and/or contact the Motoring Industry Ombudsman for assistance. You have the law on your side, so don't be shy or afraid.
Hope this helps, and hope your issue gets resolved with minimum fuss!
