You won't buy a vehicle from AutoTrader, but from one of the sellers that list their vehicles on our site - we're a portal that connects car buyers and sellers.
To purchase and register a vehicle as a foreigner in South Africa, you'll need to supply your work visa (which you already have) along with proof of ID and proof of residence: those documents are required to comply with FICA regulations. Fortunately, being a cash buyers, you won't need to apply for finance, because that process is really difficult for foreign nationals, so count yourself lucky on that count.
