Hi there
We cannot really answer your questions in the details you listed, because those costs will vary from car to car and owner to owner (tyre prices depend on the rim size, service costs depends on the mileage and usage pattern of the car, insurance costs vary according to the driver's risk profile etc).
However, we can give general advise regarding used luxury vehicles: It's definitely worth getting a maintenance plan extension if available, because that will cover major mechanical- and electronic maladies for a few years. These are complex cars with a lot of things to go wrong, but the xDrive30d is probably the safest bet of them all - its drivetrain is well-proven, and provided you avoid one with the panoramic roof (which is prone to rattles and failure with age) and don't get one with air suspension (they get leaky as they age), you should get many years of good service from one.
It would however be a good idea to set aside about R1500 every month (even if you have an active maintenance plan) for the eventuality of something expensive going wrong once the maintenance plan expires - as we said, these are complex cars, which means plenty of potential for faults to creep in along the way.
Hope this helps!
