This is a tricky one, and we're not quite sure what the answer would be. Your best bet would be to look for a serial number or a part number on the axle, and get some key dimensions (diff housing diameter, number of teeth in the various gear assemblies etc), and then scour the internet for information - until you find something that seems to match your measurements.
However, knowing that it's a trike, the chances are that it won't be a differential from a heavy-duty application such as a large truck, and we'd probably guess that it would be sourced from an Escort or a Cortina (or a Granada, if it's independent). That's unfortunately as far as our own guesswork will take us, though...
