Hi there
We are not aware of any serious issues relating to the 4-cylinder Captivas of that vintage - an observation which was confirmed by an internet search both locally and internationally. The only reported issues relate to the V6-engined variants, but those are not relevant to your question. The 2.4 EcoTec has proved itself to be mechanically robust and problem-free, though some instances of premature timing chain wear have been reported on pre-2012 models. This issue seems to have been resolved by 2014, however.
As for servicing, there are 67 approved service centres across the country, which will happily take care of your Captiva. You can find the one closest to you on this web page: http://www.chevroletowners.co.za/locate-a-dealer.html
Hope this helps, and happy motoring in your Chevy!
