Hi there
Thanks for getting in touch, we would advise caution should you decide to buy a vehicle you haven’t personally viewed or met with the seller. For this reason we have some safety and security tips on our site which you can view here: https://www.autotrader.co.za/safety-and-security First and foremost do not pay a deposit for the seller to “hold” the car for you. (See our latest scam warnings here: https://www.autotrader.co.za/latest-scams)
If you are unable to view the car yourself – do you perhaps have a good friend or family member in the area who can view the car on your behalf? This may be an option. You can also purchase a vehicle check report to gain more insight about the car you are interested in purchasing. The vehicle check report will tell you more about the history of the vehicle, such as if the car has been involved in an accident amongst other information (learn more here: http://www.vehiclecheck.co.za/)
Finally, have you checked that your location is set correctly when visiting the site? When you open our site, you can set/change your location on the top right of the page. Then begin your car search. There’s also a Location search filter on the left.
We can also search and help you find a car in KZN if you would like... What model are you looking for?
Hope this helps,
The AutoTrader Team
