Selecting an insurance policy is largely dependent on your driving habits and vehicle. If you only do a low amount of mileage a year, a limited mileage policy may save you a few Rands, but if you travel a fair deal, you may want a policy that covers the vehicle and some extras, like your windscreen. An older vehicle may not require that same amount of comprehensive coverage, if parts are cheap and readily available. A minimum of a Third Party coverage is recommended.
